“In autumn of 2017, my husband and I, recently retired, were working toward the goal of selling our long-time home in New Hampshire and relocating to Santa Fe, New Mexico. When our house went under contract quickly, the pressure was on to find a suitable replacement available for sale in Santa Fe within a fairly tight time frame – and on a reasonable, middle-income budget. Circumstances made it necessary for me to travel alone to Santa Fe for four days and attempt to make a selection. With very little knowledge of the local market other than a list of properties and realtors compiled from the internet, I began reaching out to agents. Almost immediately, Suzanne Taylor returned my call. She took the time to listen to my situation and explain to me some of the particulars of the real estate business in New Mexico. We discussed my upcoming trip and what I hoped to accomplish. When our conversation ended, I had agreed to email Suzanne a list of houses I hoped to view and I was confident that she would guide me through this process and represent our best interests.

A few weeks later, Suzanne devoted almost an entire long weekend to me and my house-hunting. She made all the arrangements to show me both my pre-selected choices and others she thought might interest me. She pointed out the pros and cons of each property. She told me honestly when she thought certain places might not be worth my time, but took me to see them if I wished – and I admit, her opinions were completely justified. By the time I returned to New Hampshire, my husband and I were ready to make an offer and Suzanne followed through persistently on our behalf. That deal did not come to fruition due to issues with the sellers, but as we continued to work together long-distance, Suzanne’s diligence helped us to eventually make another choice and negotiate fair and favorable terms. Ultimately, we were able to close on our former home, make the six-day journey cross-country with possessions and pets, close on our new home – and move in only about six weeks from my first conversation with Suzanne.
